Job Description

Organic Liquid Fertilizer Producing PLC (known by the trade name ‘Eco Green’) is a legal entity registered in 2008 in accordance with Commercial Registration and Business License Proclamation number 980/2008 of the FDRE. As the name indicates, the Company produces 100% ORGANIC Liquid Fertilizer which is rich in microbes, improves soil fertility, increases the productivity and quality of the crop, and significantly cuts fertilizer costs. It has been bestowed different national and international awards including, but not limited to, “Prestigious Science Innovation Award in 2007 E.C.” from the hands of the former FDRE Prime Minister H/Mariam Desalegn, “Climate Innovation Prize in 2009 E.C” from Ethiopian Climate Innovation Centre, and “The Best Entrepreneurship of the year Award in 2015 G.C.” from UNDP

Specific Duties and Responsiblities

  • Push sales performance in his/her sales are in order to achieve established sales targets;
  • Investigates the opportunities and re-plan the target for subsequent quarters performance;
  • Proposes on how to expand new lines of business or existing sales in the sells area and proposes way store act alternative ways in order to capture additional sales volume;
  • Submits findings and subsequent corrective actions;
  • Identifies, analyzes and exploits market opportunities in the sales area;
  • Checks the standard and performance of each agents and shops against required performance, and advice area of improvement on continuous process;
  • Visits, inspects and advices to order and keep reasonable company's products on continuous basis;
  • Studyandopendifferentagentandshopofficeatpotentialsalesareainorderto expand the retail network;
  • Ensure adherence of the company's required policy and work procedure awareness on continuous basis;
  • Educate and creates awareness during each site visits;
  • Visit agents and shops working site on scheduled basis; and
  • Performs other related duties as required.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BA in marketing management, business management or in any other related business fields with at least 4years of proven experience as sales person and above

Additional Skills Required

  • Sharp sales in born ability, target oriented nature, ability to see potentials in relation to the Company’s goal to achieve.
  • Excellent communication skill in Amharic, Oromifaa, English and other local languages.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skill.
  • Further, all rounded IT knowledge especially sales management software and related experience in trading sales experience is a plus.
