Job Summary of Secretary
METI Trading Plc is seeking a highly motivated and organized candidate for a Secretary that provides support to Managerial Staff and members of the Administrative Team. Generally, this Secretary serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the Administrative portion of the METI Trading Plc;
Detail responsibilities of the job include:
These are the core activities and obligations of senior accountant which are not limited to the following;
- Creating and organizing information, and generating reference tools for easy use.
- Answering and screening telephone calls, and responding to emails, messages, and other correspondence;
- Operating and maintaining office equipment;
- Managing a busy calendar, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements;
- Preparing letters in both Amharic and English and being able to proficiently type in each language;
- Efficiently translating draft letters which are assigned into official letters;
- Translate letters from English to Amharic and vice versa;
- Professionally greeting and receiving guests and clients;
- Ensuring efficient and effective administrative information and assistance;
- Acting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients;
- Maintaining effective records and administration;
- Managing databases;
- Liaising with clients;
- Prioritizing workloads;
- Coordinating mail-shots and similar publicity tasks;
- Maintaining diaries and arranging appointments;
- Perform other tasks which are directed by immediate supervisors

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- B.A. Degree or College Diploma TVET Level IV with Certificate of Competency (COC) from Recognized University in Secretarial Science & Office Management or related education, and clerical training is highly desirable.
Experience:
- At least 2 (two) year Work Experience for B.A. Degree or Minimum 4 Year Work Experience for Level IV/ Diploma;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point), & Adobe Acrobat;
